Health Skills Nurse Trainer
Crosslinks is seeking a skilled and passionate Health Skills Nurse Trainer (Registered Nurse) to join our People and Culture team. This is a permanent part-time role (up to 0.6FTE) with flexible working arrangements to support a healthy work/life balance.

Your Role - part of the Crosslinks Dream Team, you’ll:
As a Health Skills Nurse Trainer, you will play a vital role in developing the capabilities of our support workforce. You will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality clinical training, ensuring our teams are equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide safe, responsive, and effective support to participants with complex health needs.
- Training and Competency Assessment
- Deliver and assess clinical training modules for support workers, including but not limited to:
- Medication administration
- Midazolam and seizure management
- BGL monitoring and diabetes care
- PEG feeding, oral suctioning, and stoma care
- Catheter, wound, and pressure area care
- Bowel care and use of suppositories
- Medication administration

- Training Delivery
- Facilitate both face-to-face and virtual training sessions tailored to participant needs.
- Ensure all training is engaging, accurate, and aligned with best practices and compliance standards.

- Clinical Auditing
- Conduct audits to assess the consistency and quality of support practices across the organisation.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

- Policy and Procedure Maintenance
- Regularly review and update training materials, ensuring alignment with current organisational and legislative requirements.

About You
You are a Registered Nurse with strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for empowering others. You understand the importance of high standards in care delivery and are motivated to ensure support workers feel confident and capable in their roles.
Essential criteria:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Strong clinical background and experience in delivering training
- Valid Driver’s Licence and access to reliable transport
- Current Police Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and First Aid Certificate (assistance can be provided to obtain these)
