At Crosslinks, we believe everyone should have a reason to smile.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, people-focused Engagement and Intake Officer who is passionate about building relationships, creating opportunities and helping people access the supports they need to thrive.
This isn't your typical intake role.
You'll be the first point of contact for participants and families, the face of Crosslinks within the community, and a key driver of participant growth. From developing
referral networks to guiding families through the onboarding journey, you'll play a vital role in connecting people with life-changing supports.
If you're naturally outgoing, love building genuine relationships, enjoy networking and are motivated by achieving meaningful outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role:
As our Engagement and Intake Officer, you'll work closely with participants, families, Support Coordinators, Allied Health Professionals and community stakeholders to ensure every participant receives a seamless and positive experience from their first enquiry through to commencing services.
You'll also help identify new opportunities, build strong referral partnerships and work collaboratively with our operational teams to maximise occupancy across our supported independent living accommodation and community services.
No two days will be the same and that's exactly how you like it.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Support Coordinators, Allied Health Professionals, hospitals, mental health services and community organisations.
- Generate new participant referrals and proactively grow Crosslinks' service opportunities.
- Manage participant enquiries from first contact through to successful onboarding.
- Conduct intake meetings with participants and families.
- Review NDIS plans and funding to help participants access the right supports.
- Coordinate onboarding documentation, service agreements and participant commencement.
- Match participants with suitable accommodation and support options.
- Work closely with Area Managers to reduce vacancies and improve occupancy.
- Represent Crosslinks at expos, networking events and community forums.
- Maintain accurate participant records while ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards.
What Success Looks Like:
- Convert enquiries into active participants.
- Build trusted referral partnerships across the sector.
- Reduce vacancies and improve occupancy.
- Help participants commence services sooner.
- Deliver exceptional experiences for participants and families.
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and sustainability of Crosslinks.
About You:
- You're someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people and finding solutions.
- Experience in disability, community services, health, aged care or the NDIS sector.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence making outbound calls and developing new business opportunities.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High emotional intelligence, empathy and professionalism.
- A sound understanding of NDIS funding and service delivery.
- A proactive, outcomes-focused approach and a passion for helping people.
Essential Requirements:
- Current Driver's Licence.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- National Police Clearance.
What's In It For You?
- SCHADS Award Level 4 salary.
- Salary Packaging benefits
- Employee Assistance Program
- Healthcare Corporate discount with MediBank
- Performance Incentive Program, including participant commencement bonuses if they stay with us for over 3 months.
- A supportive, collaborative and values-driven team.
- Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
- The chance to build meaningful relationships while making a genuine difference in people's lives every day.
