💥Your Role - We are looking for a Support Worker who is empathetic, patient, and enthusiastic about making a real difference. The ideal candidate should be:
- Compassionate and understanding – You will be supporting someone with complex mental health support needs, so empathy and a non-judgmental approach are key.
- Skilled in de-escalation – You’ll be able to manage stressful situations calmly and provide emotional support when needed.
- Motivated and encouraging – You’ll help inspire them to meet their personal goals, and offer positive support to stay on track.
- Creative and hands-on – Participate in fun activities like craft, colouring, and gardening. You’ll help her create picture boards of their craft and drawings, making the experience enjoyable and rewarding.
- Willing to teach and engage – Sharing life skills like cooking and other hobbies will be an important part of the role. Your encouragement will be key to making these activities enjoyable and achievable.
- Energetic and fun-loving – Enjoy spending time together crafting, gardening, and exploring new hobbies that foster growth, creativity, and connection.
