A Day in the Life of a Crosslinks Support Worker
Each day is shaped by the person you're supporting – their goals, interests, and what matters to them out in the community. Some days are full of social connection and activities, while others are about providing encouragement and routine in everyday settings.
Your day might involve:
- Supporting someone to attend a local group, class, or appointment
- Enjoying a walk, coffee, or trip to the shops together
- Encouraging life skills like budgeting, catching public transport, or planning the week ahead
- Assisting with transport using your car or a Crosslinks vehicle
- Keeping clear, accurate notes and checking in with your team as needed
The best part? You’ll support the same people regularly,
giving you the chance to really get to know them and share in their progress.
